Call for Papers
The program will be made up from a selection of invited and submitted papers. The Society now welcomes submissions for the Cambridge program. Submissions may be from any area in economics. A program committee will select the papers for the conference. The deadline for submissions is February 15, 2008. To submit your paper to the conference, please use this link:

Registration is under tents at McDermott Court starting Thursday at 8:30am. In case of inclement weather, head to the Stata Center lobby. Sessions will be held in buildings 2, 4, 8, 26, and 56, all visible on the maps linked above. All rooms are equipped with LCD projectors. Plenary sessions are at 26-100. The reception at the Boston Fed on Thursday July 10 starts at 8pm (Directions from MIT. No transportation will be provided. The Boston T Red Line from Kendall/MIT Station to South Station brings you in 8 minutes across the street from the Fed ($2.00). Expect to go through airport style security. You will need a government issued ID.

The conference dinner will be on Saturday July 12 at 8pm at the Morss Dining Hall, Walker Memorial. Lunch and Coffee breaks will be server at Walker Lawn, McDermott Court

The Contractions will play on Friday, July 11 at 9pm at the Precinct (formerly called Toast Lounge).

There will be a soccer game on Friday July 11 at 7:30pm on Field A, Barry Astroturf Field

Hotel information

Parking: On weekdays, there is no parking available on the MIT campus. The closest public parking available is at the Cambridge Marriott in Kendall Square, or at Le Meridien (formerly the Hotel at MIT), located off Massachusetts Avenue on 20 Sidney Street. There is also a small public lot on the corner of Vassar Street and Massachusetts Avenue. Rates for parking in the vicinity of MIT are in the $25 per day range.
